County is seeking a
Family Fitness Instructor. This
part-time (grant funded) position will operate from January to June 2010 in the
Windsor and Carrsville areas. Responsibilities include establishing a safe and
effective group exercise environment and delivering extraordinary service to participants.
Must be able to provide an effective and safe exercise experience. Knowledge in exercise physiology,
kinesiology, and injury prevention, cardiovascular and medical considerations
is desired. Must demonstrate effective class formats, leadership skills, and
sensitivity to all levels of exercise. Certification in First Aid and CPR is
required. Either AFAA, ACE, ACSM, or YMCA certification is preferred. Starting salary is $12.00/hr.
