Data Distribution Liability Statement

This data is made available on an "as is" basis, without express or implied warranty of any sort, including but not limited to any warranties as to accuracy, reliability or completeness. Isle of Wight County makes no guarantees as to its fitness of use for a particular purpose, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such guarantee.

• We are only able to print maps that the County GIS Department has created.  There is also a limit of one map printing per customer.   
• Unfortunately, we are unable to print our E911 map book due to complexity and time consumption.
• Custom Services: $40 hour**
• Printing:
  • $2 (8 1/2 x 11)
  • $2 (11 x 17)
  • $5 (17 x 22)
  • $7 (24 x 36)
  • $8 (34 x 44)
  • $10 (36 x 48). 
  • For map printing larger than 36 x 48 inches, the fee is $10 plus .25 per linear inch over 48".  (Please note, these prices do not include any custom services required to create the map)
• Digital Data:  The GIS layers available on our Open Data Site at  are free.  If you require any layers that are not on our Open Data Site, please email a request to iowgis@isleofwightus.net.  There is a $15 cost per data layer in shapefile format.

**Custom Services

We are able to create customized mapping products, as well as specialty queries on a case-by-case basis.  These services will be billed at an annually established hourly rate for GIS services. Services will be billed in half (1/2) hour increments with a one (1) hour minimum charge.
