Volunteer Information

Our goal here at the shelter is to see every animal reunited with their owners, adopted or transferred out to a dedicated rescue group. The shelter accepts volunteers 7 days a week.  You must fill out a volunteer application, read the volunteer manual, and sign the agreement and liability pages, and then you may come whenever we are open.

Volunteers will be allowed to bathe animals, walk dogs, socialize with the animals, clean cat and dog kennels. We are happy to have you help out with any shelter functions you are comfortable working with such as transporting animals to rescue organizations and adoption events, after you have spent time with us learning how we operate.  We are also in need of foster families to foster dogs and cats from the shelter until we can find them a forever home. Our volunteers are an invaluable resource and we thank them all for their service!
