Isle Pre-pay Real Estate Program
Isle of Wight County is pleased to offer an estimated payment plan to assist you with budgeting your Real Estate taxes. The program is called Isle Pre-pay and it is 100% voluntary. The suggested voucher payments are made based on your previous years' Real Estate taxes. All prior years’ taxes must be paid in full before you can participate in this program. Here’s how it works.
12/5 Real Estate tax pre-pays
- Voucher 1 due by July 5
- Voucher 2 due by Aug 5
- Voucher 3 due by Sept 5
- Voucher 4 due by Oct 5
- Voucher 5 due by Nov 5
6/5 Real Estate tax pre-pays
- Voucher 6 due by Jan 5
- Voucher 7 due by Feb 5
- Voucher 8 due by Mar 5
- Voucher 9 due by Apr 5
- Voucher 10 due by May 5
December 5th Real Estate tax statements will be printed around October 15
October and November pre-payments may not be reflected on the bill due December 5th
June 5th Real Estate tax statements will be printed around April 15
April and May pre-payments may not be reflected on the bill due June 5th
Continue your payment schedule AND call the Treasurer’s office by November 15 or May 15 to make sure your pre-payments have paid your Real Estate taxes in full by the December 5th or June 5th due date. Your payments into the program are completely voluntary. You may pay more or less than your estimated amount. Any balance due must be paid by the applicable due date, to avoid penalty and interest. If a taxpayer pays more than is required, the overpayment will be applied to next tax bill; however, the taxpayer can request a refund of the overpayment. We hope this program will be a benefit to you by providing an easy method of paying your Real Estate taxes on time.

Supplemental bills are not considered in the pre-pay vouchers. Please pay all supplemental bills separately and by the individual due date.
