Questions regarding jury duty may also be directed to the Isle of Wight Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court at (757) 365-6233.

If you have been assigned individual dates for jury duty, you must call the Clerk’s Office at (757) 365-6253 after 6:00 pm the day before each of your scheduled dates to make certain your presence is still needed. Do not leave a message on this line as this line does not provide service for retrieving messages.

Jury Duty Scam

Have you or a loved one been contacted by a law enforcement officer demanding immediate payment of a fine for missing jury service.
Please be aware that if you missed jury service, the court will never ask a law enforcement officer to collect a fine from you.
If you receive a suspicious phone call of this nature, please promptly contact our office at (757) 365-6233 or the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Department at (757) 357-2151.
With your assistance, we can stop these criminals from perpetuating fraud on the public.
