Billing Procedures- Residential Sewer Service
Residential sewer service is billed bimonthly and is based on water use.

Business and commercial customers are billed on a monthly basis. Rates vary based on the type of business and the meter size. Please contact our business office for the current rates.

Sewer customers will also receive a bimonthly bill from Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) for the treatment of sewage. This sewer service is also based upon the bimonthly water usage. For additional information regarding HRSD rates and services, please call them at (757) 460-2261.

Customers in the Franklin area will not receive a bill from Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD). These customers are billed by the County for sewage treatment.
