Meet the Staff
Randy R. Keaton currently serves as the County Administrator. Mr. Keaton’s professional experience includes over 33 years of public service in County government and regional planning. He has served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission.
Mr. Keaton’s local government experience includes 26 years as the County Manager of Pasquotank County, North Carolina. Additionally, he previously served as County Manager and Finance Officer of Perquimans County, North Carolina. His public sector experience began as the Register of Deeds, Budget Officer, and Clerk to the Board of Camden County, North Carolina.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Old Dominion University, as well as course work in County Administration from the University of North Carolina School of Government.
Donald T. Robertson currently serves as Assistant County Administrator for Isle of Wight County. His tenure with Isle of Wight County began in March 1990. He has served as Assistant County Administrator/Operations, Director of Information Resources & Legislative Affairs, and the Director of Human Resources. He is a recipient of the Hampton Roads Conference of Minority Public Administrators Distinguished Service Award.
Mr. Robertson, a graduate of Smithfield High School, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Studies from Virginia Tech. He furthered his education at the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School and has a Master of Public Administration Degree from Troy State University.
