Isle of Wight County is pleased to offer an estimated payment plan to assist you with budgeting your 2013 Real Estate taxes. The new program is called Isle Pre-pay and it is 100% voluntary. The suggested voucher payments are made based on your 2012 Real Estate taxes. All prior years’ taxes must be paid in full before you can participate in this program. Here’s how it works.
6/5/13 Real Estate tax pre-pays
- Voucher 1 due by Jan 5, 2013
- Voucher 2 due by Feb 5, 2013
- Voucher 3 due by Mar 5, 2013
- Voucher 4 due by Apr 5, 2013
- Voucher 5 due by May 5, 2013
- 12/5/13 Real Estate tax pre-pays
- Voucher 6 due by June 5, 2013
- Voucher 7 due by July 5, 2013
- Voucher 8 due by Aug 5, 2013
- Voucher 9 due by Sept 5, 2013
- Voucher10 due by Oct 5, 2013
- June 5th Real Estate tax statements will be printed around April 15, 2013. May 05, 2013 pre-payments will not be reflected in the final bill due June 5th
Continue your payment schedule AND call the Treasurer’s office by May 15, 2013 to make sure your pre-payments are on track and your June 5th Real Estate taxes have been paid in full by your pre-payments. Your payments into the program are completely voluntary. You may pay more or less than your estimated amount. Any balance due must be paid by the applicable due date, to avoid penalty and interest. We hope this program will be a benefit to you by providing an easy method of paying your Real Estate taxes on time. Supplemental bills are not considered in the pre-pay vouchers. Please pay all supplemental bills separately and by the individual due date.
