Fees – Residential Sewer

The deposit will be applied to the customer’s account after one year, without interest, provided the account has not been delinquent during this period. Should the account become delinquent at any time during the one year period, the county shall retain the deposit until another year has passed without any delinquency in payment.

Industrial Facility$6.34 per 1,000 gallons of water usage up to 20,000 gallons: $5.04 per 1,000 gallons over 20,000

Sewer Connection Fees

 

Prior to connection to a County sewer system, a connection fee based on the size of the water meter must be paid. Except as provided herein, the following connection charges apply:

When the meter size of the connection exceeds the size set forth above, the applicant shall be required to pay a connection fee as determined by the County. For a meter serving one unit or more than one unit, the connection fee shall be:

Single-family, duplexes, houses, apartments, condominiums, mobile home parks, etc.Connection fee (a) for the first dwelling unit plus $3,700 for each additional dwelling unit.
Hotel, motel, travel trailer complex, hospital, nursing home, etc.Connection fee (a) plus number of units as defined by the Department of Public Utilities divided by 5 multiplied by $3,700.

Any premise, building or dwelling unit to be connected directly to the HRSD system, prior to sewer service becoming available, shall pay one-half of the applicable county connection fee prior to connection to the HRSD system. New residential, commercial and industrial customers that are in the HRSD billing area must provide their receipt as proof of payment for connection to HRSD before paying any fees to the county.

 

Sewer Connection Fees–Commercial

 

For sewer connection fees on commercial, institutional and and industrial projects the customer must contact the Public Utilities office at 365-6319 for fees.
