When the County, for any reason, has disconnected water or sewer service to any premises, only an authorized representative shall reconnect water service.
If water service is disconnected for nonpayment of a County utility bill, a $70.00 penalty shall be applied to the outstanding water bill. Additionally, the customer may be required to pay a deposit prior to reconnection..
If water service to any location is reconnected without express authorization by the County, in addition to any legal remedy which the County may pursue for such illegal reconnection, an additional $70.00 fee for a line inspection shall apply. The payment of the line inspection fee shall be in addition to any fine or settlement secured as a result of any legal action.
