The Operations Division is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the County’s water distribution system, sewer collection system, and sewer pump stations. Installing new water and sewer services, repairing water main breaks, clearing sewer blockages, flushing water and sewer mains, testing and maintaining fire hydrants, marking water and sewer line locations, and reading meters are but a few of the tasks performed by the dedicated crew in this division. The Operations Division maintains regular work hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additionally, personnel from this division are on call at all other times to respond to emergency situations.
