Southside Hampton Roads Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Southside Hazard Mitigation Plan below was approved in 2005.  Currently, the plan is undergoing an update which is required every five years in order for the localities to be eligible for hazard mitigation grant funding. The  advisory committee and public input process has been completed and is now being reviewed by Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Once their review is complete, the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors will adopt the updated plan through resolution.
