The Development Review Committee (DRC) is a 5-member sub-committee of the Planning Commission. Members are appointed annually by the Board of Supervisors. DRC members serve a term of one year. The DRC has a period for public comment at their meetings.
The DRC shall have approval authority over preliminary site development plans if any of the following conditions are present:
- The site development plan proposes a single building or group of buildings which contain a floor area that exceeds 10,000 square feet, or an expansion of an existing building or group of buildings which contain a total floor area that exceeds 10,000 square feet, including the expansion;
- The applicant is requesting a waiver from the Zoning Ordinance; or
- There are unresolved issues between the applicant, adjacent property owners, or any departmental reviewing agency.

Terms for the following member run from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011. Board members need to appoint or re-appoint members to the DRC in November 2011 for the 2012 year.
