Products: Vegetables  and cut flowers-- dependent  upon the season to include: Tomatoes, squash, eggplant, peppers, cantaloupe, watermelons, okra, carrots, beets, peas, beans, greens, collards, sweet corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, Bak Choi, and many varieties of cut flowers.

We are a small farm concentrating on growing all natural produce and cut flowers, without the use of pesticides, to give customers a healthy food alternative and opportunities to visit the farm to see where and how their food is grown. 

Directions: Located about 4 miles south of the James River Bridge, about a mile east of Founders Point, just off of Sugar Hill Road, on Miller Lane

Plans to start CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in spring of 2010. We do farm educational tours for schools, churches, and various other groups, focused on growing naturally techniques and farming in general.

We also invite customers to come to the farm (by appointment) to see how and where their food and flowers are grown and to educate them about farming

We also sell at various markets to include:  Norfolk 5 Points Farm Market, Portsmouth Farmers Market, and Governors Point Farm Market

Windhaven Farm Natural Angus Beef is available for sale to the public as quarters, halves, whole, and individual steaks, roasts and hamburger.

Natural beef is a healthy and safe choice of quality beef.  The cattle are birthed on our farm.  We do not receive feed stock from unknown sources.  Our farm does not mass produce cattle.  The cattle are antibiotic free and do not receive growth horomones. The cattle are fed 100% grass, hay, and grain.  Therefore the cattle are healthier and leaner resulting in lean, healthy beef.

Currently, we notify customers via email or phone what is in season and ready for pickup. Customers then contact us with the products they are interested in, we take their order and contact them once the items have been harvested. This allows us the opportunity to cater to the customers needs: by the pound, bushel or large quantity.

Directions: We are minutes away from downtown Smithfield, Suffolk or the town of Windsor - off Route 10 in Chuckatuck. Turn onto Oliver Drive and the farm is approximately 3 miles at the end of Oliver Drive.

Directions:From I-64 going East towards Newport News, VA take Mercury Blvd West (Rt 17/258) over the James River Bridge to Isle of Wight County and follow Rt 258 to the right.  At Benns Church Boulevard (Rt 10) make a right on to Rt 10 towards Smithfield.  At Rt 258/Courthouse Hwy make a left.  Take a right on Rt 620, and then a right on Comet Rd.  Raynor Road is about 3 miles on your left.  Woodland Trail Farm will be the first driveway on the right.
