Isle of Wight awarded matching money for PACE Program:

Isle of Wight County has received $403,219.75 in matching funds from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Office of Farmland Preservation. The County is one of 14 cities and counties to receive state money in farmland preservation grants. This is the first time since there has been substantial funding for farmland preservation through the State's Office of Farmland Preservation. Click here to read the story in the Daily Press.
